Newest "Bobble Hat Army" member joins Team Trice
The newest addition of the “bobble hat army” has joined Team Trice for 2022 after the birth of Toby Trice’s son in December last year.
As many of you will know, Toby has struggled with his own fertility issues in the past, but after having had treatment in 2020, Toby’s partner Katie fell pregnant last year.
Oliver David Trice was born on 11 December weighing a healthy 8lbs and 2oz and while it’s an incredibly special time for Toby and his family, he wants this to inspire others who are also struggling with fertility not to give up.
“It’s so, so special he’s here. It’s incredible.” Explained Toby.
“I almost gave up hope. I was pretty much prepared that I might not ever be a dad and obviously having Oliver born was almost a miracle to me.
“A huge thanks to the scientists and researchers, Logixx pharma, Fertility Network UK and all the people that have been involved in our journey to get us across the line. Without them, it simply wouldn’t be possible.
“This marks the start of the next chapter. I want to help inspire other couples and continue my awareness campaign because I realise how important and special it is to get the help that people need.
“I was in a really dark place, but thankfully motorsport saved my life and I was then able to meet people who have since helped with the journey and actually allowed me to understand the problems I had with my fertility.
"I got treated, I got fixed, and little Oliver was born some time later.
"I am so grateful for all those people, who supported me and who are looking at male fertility because without all those people I would have given up, lost hope and perhaps I wouldn’t be a father today.”
